Internet of
Things (IOT) – is an upcoming technology known as the next generation of
Internet. This Technology aids in connecting devices such as everyday consumer
objects and industrial equipment onto the network, enabling information
gathering and management of these devices via software to enhance the
efficiency, enable new services or achieve other health, safety, or
environmental benefits.
According to Gartner’s
study, the world will be a more deeply and intimately connected place, with an
estimated 7.3 billion tablets, PCs and Smartphone’s, by the end of this decade.
By the year 2020, IoT is likely to expand at even more rapid rate – to 26
billion connected devices around the globe.
